William Klein
William Klein’s wide-ranging career has encompassed groundbreaking snapshot aesthetic photographs of New York, some of the most iconic fashion photography and experimental proto-Pop films. He was voted one of the worlds most important photographers at Photokina in 1963 and became famous in Europe upon publication of his seminal Life is Good and Good for You in New York book which won the Prix Nadir in 1956. Many of the photographs from this series are available here. He studied at the Sorbonne, Paris and has been published in Vogue and many other fashion magazines. Klein has exhibited in Tokyo, Amsterdam, Milan, Madrid, New York and Cologne.
